When is the fiscal year in Nepal?
Nepal's fiscal year runs from 1 Shrawan to the end of Ashadh in the Bikram Sambat calendar — roughly mid-July to mid-July of the next year. The federal budget is presented each year for this period, written for example as FY 2082/83.
Because it follows the BS calendar, the fiscal year straddles two Gregorian years.
