Arun-3 Hydroelectric Projectअरुण-३ जलविद्युत आयोजना

Nepal's largest under-construction project, a 900 MW (4 × 225 MW) run-of-river plant on the Arun River in Sankhuwasabha, developed by India's SJVN through subsidiary SAPDC on a build-own-operate-transfer basis. Nepal receives 21.9% free energy. By 2024–25 the dam, tunnel and powerhouse were each about 70% complete, with full commissioning targeted around 2027.
