A crore is ten million (10,000,000), written 1,00,00,000. It equals 100 lakh. In Nepal, large budgets, property prices and company figures are quoted in crore, for example, 'two crore rupees' is Rs 20,000,000.
Crore (10⁷) is the next step above lakh. 1 crore = 100 lakh = 10 million.
Above crore come arba (10⁹), kharba (10¹¹), neel, padma and shankha.
