Dudhkoshi Storage Hydroelectric Projectदूधकोशी जलाशय आयोजना

A 635 MW storage project on the Dudh Koshi River spanning Khotang, Okhaldhunga and Solukhumbu, developed by NEA. ADB is poised to lead financing (~USD 580 million) alongside the World Bank, EIB, OFID and others. Despite repeated budget promises and an assembled donor package, the project has struggled to break ground and remains at the permitting/financing stage.
