At the last build of this page, 1061 general relief campaigns had raised US$2,059,295, about Rs 31.30 crore, from 20,796 donations. The figure on the page itself is refreshed every hour from GoFundMe's public search index, so the live number is the one to quote.

Only campaigns raising for the flood response in general: affected communities, villages, victims as a group, or a relief organisation. Campaigns for one named person, family, small group or a single business are listed on the page and in the all-buckets total but not in the headline. Pages created before 26 August 2026 are counted only if their text names this flood (the river, the districts or the date); otherwise their balance is from earlier appeals and they are held out, as is any large balance with one or zero recorded donations.

Each campaign is raised in its own currency (USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, CAD and others). It is converted at that day's USD rate from a public exchange-rate feed, and the USD figure is converted to NPR at the same feed's rate. Both the native amount and the conversions are shown for every campaign.

No. It counts things a reader can verify: whether the money goes to a registered charity, whether the organiser is a named organisation, whether the page names its channel into Nepal, how many people have given and in what sizes, and whether the page existed before the flood. GoFundMe separately requires organisers to verify their identity before withdrawing and covers donors with its Giving Guarantee. Use the rating to decide what to read first, not as a verdict.

GoFundMe's search page is powered by a public search index. This tracker pulls every campaign GoFundMe itself has tagged to the Bhote Koshi flood, adds keyword searches for Nepal, the flood and the affected districts, removes duplicates, keeps only pages that are about this event, and classifies each one. The whole process runs again every hour.

Two things: a page that has left GoFundMe's search index (closed, hidden or removed), and a page whose organiser has switched donations off. Reaching the goal is not closed; most campaigns that hit their goal keep accepting. The tracker keeps a record of every page it has ever seen, so a closed campaign stays in the list with its organiser, its link, its last known figures and the time it was noticed closed, and its money stays in the totals.
